Slam Poetry
Poetry can change the world; it can bring tyrants to their knees; it can spread ideas that can catch fire and transform lives. And when it is combined with performance, its possibilities to move people and create change are multiplied.
On this two-day course, you will learn the craft of writing effective slam poetry, and of building a world out of verbal images and real emotions. Then, you will get your pieces performance-ready, learning where to pause, which words to stress, what to do to pack an emotional punch and move people with your words.
Once finished, you will be ready to take to any stage and will have polished pieces ready to upload to social media.
