Drawing skills (on-line)

Do you carry a sketchbook or watercolours with you everywhere? Do you feel more at home with a paintbrush than a pen in your hand?

On this brilliant foundation course in life drawing and collage, you will work with professional artist Anne Noble-Partridge from London Drawing (www.londondrawing.com). With step-by-step demonstrations and examples from our artist, you will be able to produce sophisticated, fluid and life-like drawings. You will learn about the human anatomy to understand the mechanical movement of the body and develop these skills to create tone and texture. Workshops will cover self-portraiture, tonal portraiture, drawing hands, still life and Matisse-style drawing and collage. If you're looking to expand your portfolio and increase your chances of an art college place, this is a course for you. You will need paper, pencil, scissors, charcoal, recycled materials and felt tips. If you are eligible for free school meals, we will post you a packs of materials for the course. Just get in touch to request one.
