Drawing Stories: Make your own Manga

Ever had the feeling that you're secretly a super hero? Well, now's your chance to prove it.

Come along and immerse yourself in the weird and wonderful world of manga storytelling. Learn how to create characters, build tension, map plots and write a killer ending. Come up with heroes and villains, invent personalities people will love and hate and love to hate. And, as if that wasn't enough, flex your drawing muscles and pick up tricks of the trade, how to show emotion through facial expression, draw people in action, choose colour schemes and watch your own world spread out on the page. This year, Camden Summer University is lucky enough to have special access to the British Museum's much-anticipated Manga Exhibition. A place on this course includes time in the exhibition, using original art pieces to inspire your creations.
