Journalism (on-line)

With the rise of fake news and alternative facts, we need top quality journalists now more than ever: people who are willing to hold governments and corporations to account, with the skills to uncover and report the truth and help stop the spread of misinformation. The success of our society depends on it.

In short, budding journalists, we need you! Sign up to this course to start reporting. During the week, you will learn how to write different types of articles, conduct an online interview with a successful journalist working at a major publishing company, edit documents under strict deadlines until they are newspaper-worthy and, most importantly of all, establish yourself as a voice on the journalism scene. The fast-paced world of journalism waits for no one. Sign up to this course and get ahead. If you do not have a laptop or Wi-Fi, you can book a computer space at the City Learning Centre.
