Documentary film-making (on-line)


Would you like to make a thought-provoking documentary on the the theme 'Life after Lockdown, what will change for the better?'

Looking at the environment, technology, community support and political activism. It will include interviews with experts and the young people reflecting on their thoughts and experiences.on a topical issue with an award-winning film-maker? Working online in teams, you will research and develop a cutting-edge documentary aimed at young people. During the production, you will gain skills in interviewing, presenting, writing, commentary, and have workshops and advice on achieving the best quality sound recording and filming from your camera or phone. The finished film will be live-streamed as part of the Camden Summer University Film Festival which will be online this year. This is a must for anyone interested in a career in film or TV. You will need access to a film camera or phone with film capability, a pen and paper and to download Gimp (free software). If you do not have access to a computer and Wi-Fi, you can book a place to use a computer at the City Learning Centre in Camden. To book a computer space, email gillian.ingram@camdenlearning.org.uk
