Public Speaking

Great speeches can capture hopes and dreams, move people to action and shape the course of history. The ability to speak persuasively and engagingly in public is a craft that can be cultivated with practice.

On this two-day course, you'll explore the ins and outs of public speaking, develop skills in expressing your thoughts and ideas fluently, and practice how to enhance your vocal dexterity. If you want to build up your confidence, this course is for you; if you want to perfect your powers of persuasion, this course is for you; if you want to stand up, be heard and learn how to change the world with your words, then this course is for you.

Language is your most powerful tool - sign up and master your ability to use it.

Those attending the course will also get the opportunity to present Camden Summer University's end of summer show, which will be held in the auditorium of the British museum on Friday 25 August.
