Journalism

Do you have the bravery necessary to speak truth to power? Do you have the ability to observe and dissect what is going on in the world around you? Or do you have a desire to fight for justice and make society a better place? Then the world of journalism and our society need you!

We need top quality reporters who can keep people informed, counteract misinformation and lead ground-breaking news.

Come along and join us for four days at the British Library, during which you will learn about what it means to be a journalist; produce pieces of both video journalism and print journalism; learn about how the news has changed in a world with social media; and interview a successful journalist - an international correspondent working at 1843, The Economist's bi-monthly culture magazine.

Those attending will also get to visit the British Library's exhibition - Beyond the Bassline: 500 Years of Black British Music and create a written or social media review.

Sign up now, your future awaits!
