Drama and performance skills

Come and train with professional TV, film and theatre actor Lanre Malaolu in the iconic setting of the British Museum.

Lanre has a passion for keeping performances REAL and experience of working in popular TV shows, such as Hollyoaks, through to theatre work with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal Court. If you are a budding actor this is an opportunity not to be missed! You will look at how improvisation can create a performance, work on vocal and physical techniques to improve characters and draw on your own experiences to develop roles using 'method acting'. This course is full of surprises and will keep you entertained throughout. The final day will culminate in a performance in the Galleries and Great Court of the British Museum. Your performance will be filmed and later screened at the British Museum as part of the Camden Summer University Film Festival on Friday 26 August.
