Young Creatives and Technicians
Step into the creative and technical world of theatre with this exciting course delivered in partnership between Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and Donmar Warehouse.
Designed for young people interested in backstage careers, this five-day intensive offers hands on experience with industry professionals working across set and costume design, lighting, sound, and stage management & stage technology.
Throughout the week, you'll develop practical skills, build your creative portfolio and discover how artistic and technical teams collaborate to bring productions to life. You'll work alongside theatre-makers and technicians, gain insight into training and career pathways, including apprenticeships and Higher Education, and explore the next steps into the creative industries.
As part of the programme, you''ll meet leading industry professionals and become part of the Donmar Alumni Community, with access to future free tickets and opportunities.
Participants will also receive application support for courses at Royal Central and be invited to a reunion event in September. No previous experience is needed, just curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm for theatre and live performance.
