Film project for young people with social communication needs, ASD and Asperger's syndrome
Create animated films using a mixture of locations, objects, cut-outs and special effects to develop your creative ideas.
You will use specialist equipment and be tutored by award-winning film-maker Suzanne Cohen. This course is supported by NHS Speech and Language Therapists throughout the week. You will be involved in every stage of the creative process from storyboarding to designing characters, camera work and editing. You will need to attend every day to complete the project and will work together as a team to bring your ideas to life. The final films will be screened as part of the Camden Summer University Young People's Film Festival at the British Museum on Friday 26 August. Please contact NHS Speech and Language therapists, if you would like to be considered for a place, by emailing whh-tr.camsltcsyp@nhs.net as you cannot book for this course on this site.
