Public speaking

Great speeches can capture hopes and dreams, move people to action and shape the course of history. The ability to speak persuasively and engagingly in public is a craft that can be cultivated with practice.

On this two-day course, you'll explore the ins and outs of public speaking, develop skills in expressing your thoughts and ideas fluently, and practice how to enhance your vocal dexterity. We will be working in the auditorium in the British Museum so you will get a feel for delivering to a large audience. If you want to build up your confidence, this course is for you; if you want to perfect your powers of persuasion, this course is for you; if you want to stand up, be heard and learn how to change the world with your words, then this course is for you. Language is your most powerful tool - sign up and master your ability to use it. This will be a socially distanced course - please stay safe and respect others by following social distancing.Your second day will be spent in the British Museum auditorium
