Life Drawing and Portraiture

Do you carry a sketchbook with you everywhere? Do you feel more at home with a pencil or paintbrush than a pen in your hand?

On this brilliant foundation course in life drawing and portraiture, you will work with professional artist Anne Noble-Partridge from London Drawing (www.londondrawing.com). With step-by-step demonstrations and examples from our artist and with a life drawing model, you will be able to produce sophisticated, fluid and life-like drawings. You will learn about the human anatomy to understand the mechanical movement of the body. We will work on proportion, structure and foreshortening and develop these skills to create tone and texture. Workshops will cover life drawing with a life model and self-portraiture. If you're looking to expand your portfolio and increase your chances of an art college place, this is a course for you.
